After falling in the series opener in Indiana, the New York Knicks will return home for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Wednesday night. The Pacers took Game 1 with a 130-121 victory on Monday, leaving the Knicks with a must-win at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks were led by Jalen Brunson's 27 points in Game 1, while Julius Randle added 25 points and 10 rebounds. However, the Pacers were too much to handle, with Tyrese Haliburton leading the way with 29 points. Haliburton also dished out 8 assists and grabbed 7 rebounds.
The Knicks will need to play with more urgency and efficiency in Game 2 if they want to tie the series. The team has been struggling offensively in recent games, averaging just 124.0 points per game in their last five outings.
